LOFTUS DEMOLITION HISTORY

Established in the 1950’s in the heart of Cork, the name Loftus has become synonymous with high quality civil engineering and demolition right across Ireland and Europe. Our long history has made us who we are today, and we could not be prouder of the shoulders we stand upon.

In this section of the website, we would like to share with you, some photos from our archives, detailing some of the earliest projects undertaken by the company and the establishment and construction of some of Ireland’s most recognised industries. From the delivery of our very first Massey Ferguson in 1970 and the demolition of the 40m high R&H Hall Mill at Victoria Road, to the demolition and remediation of the 240,000m2 Quigley Magnasite Plant in Dungarvan for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in 1992, we have a wealth of history to share with you.
